Register here

Energy Exchange: $60 per person

Qigong with Judy Thurman: Discover the ancient art of Qigong through gentle yet transformative movements rooted in thousands of years of Chinese medicine and philosophy. Judy will guide you through the rich history of this practice and teach you a carefully crafted sequence designed to release energetic blockages that may be limiting your full potential. These flowing movements help restore balance and vitality to both body and mind while cultivating inner peace and resilience. You'll learn techniques you can easily incorporate into your daily routine for ongoing wellness and stress relief.

Introduction to Brainspotting with Kim Johancen, LPC: Experience an innovative therapeutic approach that works by identifying, processing and releasing core neurophysiological sources of emotional/body pain, trauma, dissociation and a variety of other challenging symptoms. Kim will introduce you to this powerful, focused treatment method that uses specific eye positions to access the brain's natural healing capacity. This introductory experience offers a gentle pathway to healing without requiring verbal processing of difficult memories.

Your Journey Forward: Together, these complementary practices create a powerful foundation for self-discovery, emotional release, and personal transformation. You'll leave with practical tools for ongoing healing and a deeper understanding of your own resilience and potential.

Brain Bath: Somatic Meditation and Therapeutic Sound Bath Immersion

Investment: $60

Brain Bath is a restorative meditation designed to help the nervous system settle, regulate, and gently unwind from stress—offering a spacious reset as we enter the new year.

This experience blends visual anchoring, mindful awareness, and the soothing vibrations of a sound bath to support relaxation, integration, and nervous system regulation. Rather than doing or processing, Brain Bath invites you into a state of rest, presence, and gentle release—allowing the mind and nervous system to soften naturally and at their own pace.

Treat both your brain and body to this restorative immersion that supports a deep sense of calm, grounding, and deeper connection with the whole self. This offering is well-suited for anyone seeking stress relief, greater clarity, and a sense of grounding—whether you’re new to meditation or have an established practice.

Meet your guides for this event:

Kim Johancen, MA, LPC
Kim Johancen, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Brainspotting Consultant (BSP), and founder of Clear View Counseling & Consulting in Denver, with almost 30 years of experience in trauma-informed, cognitive, and somatic nervous system–based care. She guides the meditation and visual anchoring practices in this experience.

Judy Thurman, VSTCP
Judy Thurman is a sound therapist and Qigong practitioner with over 20 years of experience using sound, movement, and Eastern healing traditions to support relaxation and balance. She leads the sound bath portion of this offering.

This is an educational and experiential practice, not therapy or clinical treatment. A beautiful experience to attend on your own—or bring someone with you and begin the year feeling more settled, connected, and restored.

Qigong Movement: Participants will learn how to cultivate and balance their qi, or life force energy, through the practice of movements that promote relaxation, flexibility, and strength. In addition, we’ll practice calming our minds and cultivating a sense of inner peace through mindfulness and meditation. I also play a few of my singing bowls to round out the experience.

Qigong movement classes are suitable for all levels. You can stand, sit, or even lie down while practicing Qigong. From beginner to advanced, these movements are a great way to improve overall health and well-being, reduce stress and anxiety, and promote a sense of inner harmony.

Sound Therapy + Meditation: The last half-hour will be devoted to sitting in stillness practice. I will be playing a few of my singing bowls during this time.

Bring: Water to hydrate and a mat if you prefer. Dress in layers. If you would like to do Qigong Movement while sitting, you are welcome to bring a chair.

Can't stay the full 60 mins of class? You may come and go as you please.
